In 1971, an American student who was studying at the Free University of Berlin, Germany stumbled upon a local perfumery. She was captivated with the array of beautiful perfume essences. She began mixing them and creating perfumes, and learning the art of French perfumery. She also traveled to Paris, France and widened her knowledge of aromatic raw ingredients, and gained a real passion for rare and precious perfumes. She became known as MADAM THELMA (Fraulein Thelma). Contemporary fragrance connoisseurs have now hailed Madam Thelma as the undisputed Queen of Fragrances™.

She revolutionized the entire fragrance industry -- The DIVA of Fragrance, Celebrity Perfumer Madam Thelma, the creative genius and imaginative fragrance designer of (The Original) FANTASY Perfume™ whose beautiful, high end, luxury perfumes are sold at some of the most prestigious stores in the world. Madam Thelma has ignited a "FANTASY" trend that has been adopted by other fragrance perfumers, mass brands and industry insiders. Her romantic, seductively delicious fragrances bring out the DIVA in every woman by arousing attention, stimulating passion and the power of FANTASY.

FANTASY Perfume™ highlights the Fragrance Journey through the Louisiana Bayou. Thelma has developed innovative concept perfumes, inspired by her travels, legends and lore, and by the beauty of her native Alameda Island, with its storybook Island setting, fabulous beaches, and indigenous flora.

Gifted and talented (Madam) Thelma Haywood is not only a world renowned perfumer, she is also an inspirational speaker at Women's Conferences who encourages women to achieve their dreams and goals. She reveals the personal challenges in her life and how she overcame them, to become known as the the original, undisputed Queen of Fragrances™. It is her belief that our biggest obstacles in life can be our greatest victory. It takes focus, determination and hard work to make a difference. No one can make you inferior without your permission. It is determination, passion and hard work that will send you to your dreams.

Madam Thelma is a graduate of the prestigious California State University at Hayward, California, holder of Bachelor of Arts in GERMAN. She also has attended the Free University of Berlin, GERMANY, Goethe German Language Institute, Rothenburg, GERMANY. She is from an exclusive line of perfumers in New Orleans, and has also studied the art of perfuming in Paris, France and Berlin, Germany.
